An introduction to programming and the Python language is provided in this course. Students are introduced to core programming concepts such as data structures, conditionals, loops, variables, and functions. Students in this course will learn about the various tools for writing and running Python, and will start coding immediately. This course also includes hands-on coding exercises using commonly used data structures, writing custom functions, and reading and writing files.
